You may know, already that I am to retire from my post at the end of this school year.

In the thirty-or-more years since I was appointed Head-Teacher here at Russell Hall School much has changed in the world of education.

What hasn't changed, though, is my absolute conviction that children prosper in their education when their parents are part of the process. It is with this in mind that invite you to continue be an active partner, with our caring and experienced staff, in your child's educational development.

I'm sure that, with your support, the school will, as it has for seven generations, remain in the heart of this community.
