Welcome to Class 5

In Year 5 we have:

Miss Douthwaite our class teacher, Miss Martindale our Learning Support Assistant and Mr McDanielson our HLTA.

In Year 5 our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. From February, Year 5 always take part in swimming lessons; these replace one PE lesson. In the Summer term, children in Year 5 participate in bikeability.

This year, we will be taking a trip to Murton Park for a WW2 experience day. Later in the year, the children will be enjoying an in school experience day learning all about the Egyptians.

The homework set each week includes: a maths task, spellings to learn and reading everyday. This is set on Tuesdays.
