Digital Leaders are responsible for supporting the use of technology across the school. They do a variety of jobs including:

  • Coordinate the use of iPads and Chromebooks in school to support learning
  • Share their skills and expertise with other pupils, classes and teachers
  • Assist teachers and other pupils in understanding coding applications
  • Set up ICT equipment and support teachers in using technology in the classroom
  • Operate the laptop and music system in whole school and class assemblies
  • Audit school hardware and report any broken or malfunctioning equipment
  • Ensure that Chromebook trolleys are maintained to a good standard
  • Have a good understanding of how to stay safe online and share this with others
  • Raise the profile of ICT in school and help to lead lunchtime or afterschool clubs
